| Internet gambling and internet brokers are similar. Both deal in online wagering and all cash transactions. No UPS or FedEx are needed.
This thread will be devoted STRICTLY to gambling companies with an internet presence, be they casinos, lotto, bingo or horse/dog racing. We can also discuss the software that will support the industry such as virtual cash providers, age and residency verification, and "net nannies" to screen out problem gamblers.

We can also discuss the regulatory ramifications of internet gambling. Will all the foreign gambling websites make a ban difficult, if not impossible? Or will our politicians simply continue their old addiction to gambling taxes and just try to regulate and tax internet gambling?

Finally, will the convenience and lower overhead of internet gambling mean the demise of brick and mortar casinos? The internet gambler can gamble 24 hours a day from anywhere he has his computer. No dealers, cocktail waitresses, lavish entertainment, or even plush hotels are needed. Will this lower overhead translate into better odds and payouts for the internet gambler?
