ok I am proposing a new investing strategy that I think will work very well.
here are the guidlines:
1. I have a list of about 50 stocks that will be in our "play" list
2. The list is fairly permantant - with no additions really needed, and withdrawls should not be nessesary either. Of course there are always exceptions.
3. The topic of posting on this thread will be kept ONLY to the stocks on the list - no others. There are plenty of OTHER threads to discuss other stocks.
4. Each night we will scan the charts of these stocks looking for various technical indications of BUY or SHORT opportunities. Incications such as formations, head and shoulders, volume, resistamnce levels, support levels, upward trend channels, down trend channels, ascending triangels, breakouts etc.
5. Everyday I will place a pick of my opion based on the chart befor the open. Everyone is also welcome to give their pick as well for the day.
6. My vision for this thread is to have a group of us who are very good at reading charts to form a short term investment group that will buy picks based on these technicals.
7. What kind of money are we looking at here? I am looking for stocks to move on average $0.5 to 2$ over a few days. So - in saying that buying in block less that 500 shares would not do you much good.
8. the final goal is to be making $2 - $4K a week doing these types of trades trading in blocks of 500 to 1000 shares.
