Return to UAI - Unistar - BB reverse merger that moved to AMEX

UAI is an insurance co. that moved from the OTC-BB to AMEX recently, with a market cap of about $ 1 Billion.

For the three months ended 3/31/99:
total revenues totalled $19.6 million.
Net income totalled $1.4 million

Info on the stock can be found here:

Some investors believe that based on price/book and price/earnings, the market cap is extremely high, compared to industry peers, and that the balance sheet does not look very clean for an insurance company. Some believe that the corporate history (OTC-BB and a reverse merger) are unusual for a stock with this market cap.
