I believe that there are enough influential people here on SI to cause a change in the way our government spends and collects money.

I further believe that the only way to change the amount of national debt is by way of constitutional ammendment.

Furthmore I believe that the most effective way to impact such change is to hold those who spend excess money personaly liable.

Such wording as:

At any time that spending shall exceed income, the saleries of all comgressmen, senitors, president, vice-president and cabinet members shall be cut in half until such excess spending has ended.

I have ideas about how such an amendment could be shoved down washingtons throat. Can we get suggestions about wording? Or for that matter any other suggestions?
