Check this one out. PRTIE. The stock price has dropped to .50 cents from around $4 but it still lists a book value of $5.00. What's the problem? I'm not sure. The old management, when the company was named Hughes Resources, was apparently not doing a very good job. They got pushed out, and there are some legal squables. There was a one for ten reverse split which proved fatal and now there has been a delay reporting last years results. But company seems profitable, with 25 million sales. They moved into gas production last year, also own lumber mills. In a recent release they claimed the lumber mills at at full production and the gas wells are selling gas at top price, so they are expecting a strong current quarter. This one could explode when current quarter results get reported. |
