Return to Oceaneering Intl (OII)

This is an oil service company, for the most part. They do underwater repairs and installation of underwater cables and the sort for the oil industry. They recently opened a new plant in Scotland and a new plant in Brazil. The Brazilian plant ought to be the one to watch, because the Brazilian government is leasing out land for oil drilling to international companies. OII also just took over another company with two key ports in the U.S. Those factors, along with a large order ought to make the second half of 1999 a good year for OII. Also, currently the oil stocks are running, and making a lot of investors happy.
