Successful internet e-commerce companies look for products and ideas, find a way to streamline the process of buying and selling products/information. By making product/information more accessible and available you are taking the friction out of doing business. Right now Companies and Internet users located in South and Central America feel mucho friction mostly because they are late comers to this internet phenomena. Internet users in Central and South America are expected to increase approximately 550 % in the next 2 years. Way to go Orinoco or should I say "ActiveAssets" (Orinoco's new name, ticker symbol AAA) for realizing this market and moving on it.
The building of an interactive auction website is a complex technical maneuver and the building of a database of 100,000 participating companies throughout North and South America no easy task. Nice thing is you only have to do them once. It all comes down to business skills, imagination and money and I think this group has them.
