You're on the internet. You only have a short amount of time to read e-mail, or shop, or whatever the heck else you like to do. Suddenly, you get an Instant Message--it's Cousin Erma, who's sent you the same "how's it going?" message she sent the last 120 times she caught you online. You can't take it anymore, but if you don't take the message Erma's feelings will be hurt. What to do? Is there any software out there that will mask the fact that you are online--i.e., an electronic "Do Not Disturb" sign????
