Getting heavily involved in the biotech forums here on SI, as well as a few "Big Pharma's", made me realize how ridgid and dogmatic the medical community really is. Here's a place to "vent"... and here's a start:

Duhhh... right??? That's what this thread is about, such anecdotal evidence, old wives tales, etc are often ignored or not considered "science" because there is not "proof" as it were. Let's have fun and everythings fair game.
Oh, yea, I know we have LOTS of doctors and scientists here on SI, many of whom I count as very good "cyber friends"... hope they contribute [steer us straight?] and NOT take this as an afront, it is not meant to be one! Hopefully we can all learn from each other and each others experiences...
