Corporate information

Tellium designs, develops, manufactures and markets optical networking systems
that allow our customers to build survivable optical networks. These systems
include optical cross-connect elements along with network management software.
Tellium's products provide an evolutionary upgrade path for service providers to
make their existing SONET networks ready to meet the demands of a data-centric
telecommunications environment. As a result, a new generation of high-speed
routers and ATM switches will connect directly to the optical layer where the
network survivability function will be resident. Network providers can combine
their current assets with our products that deliver SONET-like features at an
unprecedented level of configurability and survivability at the optical layer.
