We're a party of four Southerners, spending most of the week around St. Patrick's Day in New York City, where my son will be in the parade.

What should we see? What should we avoid? What are the best hotel, food, tourism values? Which airport is best to fly into?

I understand saying "Hi, y'all!" doesn't cut it up there. What else do we need to know?
