ZixIt (formerly CustomTracks) has been all over the board as the longs and shorts have fought an epic battle over the outlook and valuation of this company.
The short position has been (correctly I might add) that the company had no visable products, only promises, and that there was already secure e-mail available at no charge.
The longs have been promising a new era in secure e-mail that was un-hackable. And MORE</> importantly a method for SECURE E-Commmerce.
To this point, the arguements have centered around the ability of ZixIt's CEO to deliver on promises made, that have thus far been tardy on action.
All of this seems to be about to come to a head as I am told the ZixCharge system is now avaiable, and the ZixMail program will be available within immenently.
When the CEO Cook started Blockbuster Video he delayed the openning several times so that he would have in perfect. He claims to have done the same with the different Zix systems. Time will tell, but it is clear that they will now have a product and contracts will shortly folow.
Good Luck. This one has been interesting with a 12 month price range of 3 1/2 to 90. Currently at 29 it seems a breakout one way or the other is only a weeks a way. |
