Return to Irwin toys - TSE: IWT DragonballZ

Irwin Toys sells $5 figure of popular DragonballZ figures.

Sold by Irwin toys out of Canada. irwin-toy.com
Trades on the TSE:IWT (so I'm not sure how I buy it here). Toys are 27 figures from the series, license by FUNanimationProduction, Inc.??
Cost about $5 at Walmart out here. My kids blew their money on the toys and haven't got all yet. First time noticed these toys anywhere. Only 12 left in the store. Stock is at $4-5. Having a hard time pulling 1998 data out of the web site. Made in China. 1-800-268-1733 is the comment line. Any help on this would be appreciated. Jack

IS DRAGONBALL Z THE NEXT POKEMON?

It appears as if Dragonball Z is poised to be the next big thing in Canada. YTV seems to think so. It has positioned the Japanese animation TV show in "prime toon time" Monday-Friday @ 4:30 p.m. directly following Pokemon. The Saturday morning time slot is 8:00-8:30 a.m., directly preceding Pokemon.

Other indications of how hot Dragonball Z is becoming are even more revealing. Recently, DBZ videos were #6 and #10 on the Video Topsellers Chart which includes all types of videos; not just children's animation.

One of the most accurate ways of determining a brand's popularity is its performance on the internet. The Lycos 50 which charts internet searches, puts Dragonball Z at an astounding #5, ahead of NFL Football and the Backstreet Boys
