Dear Silicon Investor Members:
Welcome to the Silicon Investor ThinkTank.
Thanks to you, Silicon Investor is the leading online investing community on the Web, and with your help, we'll make it even better. The purpose of this thread is to create one central point of contact and information exchange regarding new features and ideas for improving SI. With literally thousands of new messages each day, it's virtually impossible for us to keep up with all of the good ideas - and we don't want to miss any.
So, if you've got a great idea for a new feature - let us know. Got a pet peeve about a particular part of the site? Don't hold back. Got a question about why we did what we did, or the way we did it? Ask. This is the place to do it.
This is also the place to debate the benefits (or drawbacks) of proposed new features. From time to time, we may be considering a new idea and want your feedback on how to refine it. This is where we'll ask for it. That way, everyone who wants to participate and provide input can do so.
First, a couple of ground rules. 1. We will read every message posted to this thread. That's a promise.
2. Unfortunately, we may not be able to respond to every message on this thread. If we don't, please don't take it personally. :) In fact, I hope that we are overwhelmed with input.
3. As a rule, we will not generally make commitments about specific delivery dates for specific features. We don't want to create promises that we have to delay, when circumstances inevitably change in a way that shifts our priorities. And, if there is one thing we can depend on with respect to the Internet - it's *change*.
4. Occasionally members have made suggestions or comments about acquisitions or other strategic business decisions that they feel Silicon Investor should pursue. Although we appreciate the intent, for a variety of reasons we cannot and will not comment on such suggestions in any way. In other words, we will neither confirm nor deny such statements. :)
Thanks again for all your support. I hope that you will actively use and enjoy this Silicon Investor ThinkTank. We're listening.
Thanks,
Bryan |
