Return to American Express Brokerage -- FREE equity trades

I just saw the first advertisement for American Express's online brokerage. It features free equity trades (whether limit or market) for taxable accounts (i.e., not IRAs) when account balances are over $100K. Buy orders are free and sell orders are 14.95 on accounts between $25K and 100K. The other fees a broker charges you (wire xfers, certificating, reorganizations, etc.) seem reasonable. The offering can be viewed at finance.americanexpress.com.

The purpose of this thread is to discuss the performance of the brokerage and to provide detail on rules/practices the broker has which affect customers.
