Return to Small Cap Foreign Biotech

Small Cap Foreign Biotech, with a few exceptions, is not well known in the US. This year, QLTI brought renewed interest to the Canadian small cap sector, and some foreign biotechs have actually joined the recent US rally successfully. There is some pretty interesting work going on around the globe, and much of it selling at capitalizations a lot less than US. Stock markets across the world work differently than in the US and US investors need all the help we can get to access and understand them. This access is expanding almost daily.

Since the rules are different overseas, this thread is intended to be a forum for discussion of foreign biotechs and medical device companies and hopefully to add information to what is often poorly reported for investment purposes. A model portfolio may be tough to build as SI will probably fall flat on quotes outside of the OTCBB, or ADR's.

Disclosures: I work for a privately held biotech company with interests outside the US. Of course I won't disclose anything but public information about any of the firms I/we work with and won't discuss at all any we have an interest in.

Generally, to keep the tables honest, please disclose your interest in firms and issues which you discuss, and let's keep pumping to a minimum and info/dialogue high.

While this should not need to be said, don't invest in ANYTHING without doing your own homework and knowing what you bought (or sold) and why.

That said I look forward to some pretty interesting discussions.
