This company has some interesting live saving technology. We have all seen on popular TV shows how the ER team rushes to the patient when the cardiac monitor/system alerts to a cardiac arrest or tachycardia when the heart beat so fast that no or insuffient blood is circulated. This when their "Powerheart" bedside defibrillator kicks in. It has been monitoring the heartbeat all along and it's intelligent software makes the applicable decision to automatically deliver the defibrillation shocks to re-establish the heart's normal rhythm. All this can take place before any of the hospital staff is there ready with the paddles and shooting "clear" !!
Well Cardiac Science has now received FDA Approval for a Commercial version of Powerheart!
