(OTC Bulletin Board: TREK - news) announced today that it will be doing business under the name of Starbase-1.com to reflect the Company's new direction to expand its website e.commerce marketing and also include an expanded product line of licensed science fiction merchandise. Effective January 5, 2000, the new trading symbol will be ''SIFI.''

Starbase-1.com manufactures, markets and distributes STAR TREK(TM) themed gourmet food products under merchandise licensing agreements with Viacom Consumer Products.

The Company's merchandise license agreement includes gourmet coffees, teas and other related accessories; chocolate bars and packages of assorted chocolates, as well as molded chocolate shapes, and hot chocolate, all of which may be sold as gift packs; hard candy, including, but not limited to lollipops and candy rolls to be packaged separately or in gift boxes; collectible beverage bottles filled with assorted teas and/or ciders and/or coffees or fruit juice or other beverages.
