This is an interesting situation...at present I would say high risk/high reward. The company has been in business for a long time. There are some licenses they own that I would describe as hidden assets. Certain product lines should play into this telco market now but money is tight. You need to read the filings on this one. AND it is low outstanding low flt so be careful and use limits if you decide to do anything after doing your due diligence. Filings and profile avail at Edgar.

B: DATAMARINE INTERNATIONAL INC. 220 MHZ MOBILE BACKLOG EXCEEDS $1,000,000

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE, Wash., Feb 1, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- David
Thompson, President, Datamarine International Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board:
DMAR) announced today that the backlog for its 220 MHz mobile radio,
model SEA-604 , has reached $1,200,000, or approximately 3000 radios.
The radio which has both voice and data capability has generated an
excellent market response for low cost SMR dispatch applications.

An additional feature, which is generating demand is the fact that the
radio will be retrofitable for wide area networking using *LTR-Net(TM).
SEA as a LTR-Net(TM) licensee is developing appropriate mobile software
which it plans to introduce this year.

the advantages of the 220 MHz service, both economically, as well as
from a radio performance standpoint."
