This space will atempt to identify companies involved in what many see as the next great leap in internet/telecommunications technology- the use of optics and lasers to increase the speed and amount of data that networks can transport.
The stock of many of these companies have jumped at the speed of light as the market has become aware of their prospects. This thread will attempt to list those that have already been recognized and uncover those that that haven't been. The idea is to build a definitive list of those that may be involved and why.
