A Swedish company with a unique technical solution. The companys check-out tiller system entails taking the handeling of cash out of the equation as such. Notes are feed into the system at the check-out and change is given automatically. There is no cash kept at the check-out minimizing the threat of robbery etc. Fully integrated the system can be a very good tool in the future use of store check-out systems for banking etc.
FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER SAFE AND SECURE MONEY - A GOOD DEAL
Our cash handling system CashGuard solves a lot of well known problems and it is so cost effective for the customer it is a virtual cash cow. Of course, it is very stimulating to manufacture and sell a system, which so clearly benefits the customer as CashGuard does. The potential is huge. In Sweden there are more than 10 000 stores where CashGuard could be put to good use and today we do not have any competitors. A lot of the heavy investments in system development and test installations are already made, especially in the grocery trade. We have made test Installations in both the petroleum and the fast food business. The export market is opening up thanks to close cooperation with a German grocery chain.
We are working on expanding our business, but not too fast. We only want satisfied customers. We have a very active sales strategy. We have negotiated the distributor's contracts and started to build our own sales and delivery organisation with training and support I believe that our new method of financing, lease with option to purchase, will increase our sales dramatically. We offer the customers to become cost effective from day one after the CashGuard system has been installed. Lease with option to purchase does not require big investments. which makes the decision-making process easter. When the new cashregister system have been installed I believe the market is ready to see what CashGuard can offer in the way of improvements. The CashGuard system is prepared for handling Euro and the change of currency from for example Swedish crowns to Euro. The participating countries in Europe will start making the necessary adjustments in January 2002. The Swedish government has not decided at what time Sweden will join, but when that day comes, those who still have manual cash boxes will see an increase in the administrative workload. For those who use CashGuard the transition will be smooth, since the problems with exchange rates etc is handled automatically by the CashGuard system. I firmly believe the future is bright for CashGuard. We are currently Installing one new system every week. Maybe next time in a shop near you.
