That's right. Only in the true fashion that makes my better half so loveable, she decided last week we would have a birthday party tomorrow for our two year old daughter.
What started out as just a small, immediate family only party of about 20 people has swelled to over 70 guests.
We all know how this happens. We invited Charlie and Maria, so now we have to inviet Tom and Heather. And since we're inviting Tom and Heather, we should call Sue and have her bring her kids too, because their kids are friends with
Tom and Heather's kids.
You get the picture.
And since everyone is curious as to how August's house and yard look(and just what the hell he's been up to), everyone always comes. I don't think we've ever had a party with less than 95% attendance, and we never give more than a weeks notice.
Now, I'm gonna try it this way to make a public announcement and see if we can't lower the attendance record.
EVERYBODY is invited! Come one, come ALL. Tell your friends. Tell your neighbors. Don't worry about a gift, the kid has too many already.
We might run out of food. but there will be pleanty of BEER and TEQUILA.
And yes, there is enough lawn for anyone who wants to sleep over.
