My buddy Civ created a new thread Thursday I think it was, maybe earlier. Anyway it was on the hotlits, #1 for the last 2 days. Now it looks like it fell off a cliff. The thread is still there, but now even "Sloped Foreheads, Cervical Creases and Market Makers" is hotter than his thread.

Reminds me of 1 or 2 years ago when my "hot" threads would mysteriously get $5 an under status, which of course means they cannot be on the hot list.

ciVic's a good guy. Why did SI bump him?

Is SI deciding for themselves what is hot and what is not?
