I know that I've seen some discussion of this company in the past, but I couldn't find a thread. Sorry if this duplicates something that's already existant. Here's something that may be of interest (thanks to Texas Dude for pointer).......

Melanotan II. I've done a tiny bit of digging, not nearly enough. Merck has interest. One of the major investigators in the area had ties to Selectide, and they were acquired by Marion Merrell Dow (then Hoechst-Marion-Roussel, then merged with Rhône-Poulenc Rorer to become Aventis..... huh, what do you mean, "consolidation"??).

Current ask is 5 1/2.
