Return to Amati - MAIN THREAD

AMTX will go through the roof and if you are not in it, GET IN IT!

I started this thread in an attempt to consolidate the multitude of other threads already related to Amati. Does it make sense to add another thread if there are already too many threads? I hope so; if it means we only need to read one thread for the latest insight instead of the half dozen we currently scan. This is sort of like an ANSI standard (get it!).

The positive press release from last night was nice and the stock reacted with a two point gain (13+%) on 2.07 MM shares. Not bad, but this is nothing compared to what will happen when a main stream information provider such as the Wall Street Journal, Barrons, CNBC or even Popular Science Magazine picks up on the technology and actually mentions "AMATI". Obviously the Amati company is doing little in the way of marketing their name to the press or has been unsuccessful in doing so. Perhaps they are waiting for the right time. Who knows? However, I am glad that they are not hyping the company with bullxxxx press releases and marketing like so many other small companies do.

I did catch on CNBC today a short discussion related to the UUNET and MFST (not MSFT) deal announced today. They spoke heavily about the need for wider bandwidth and how important it is for the internet and the like. How software companies and advertisers are eager to provide feature rich programming but how they just can't do it now with 28.8 connections. For instance, an advertiser or information disseminator can now barely show you a graphic of it's product with some text. They would rather have a full action video of a person talking to you, etc. etc. You already know all this. I was just relating what I heard today. Of course they did not mention Amati. But that's the beauty of Amati. Every one else is creating the hype for faster speed. When the cork finally pops and the AMATI name is finally spoken there will be an ubelievable recepttion by the general public. Even the IOMG investors will probably sell their shares to buy Amati. For those of us who are in the stock now, the champagne will spill over the brim of our glasses. Don't miss the party.
