Return to Harmonic Lightwaves (HLIT)

Hello,

Few weeks ago in a brief message in the WSJ's section on OTC stocks,
one analyst mentioned this small company as the major
benefector of HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax), providing fibe-optic
transmission systems.

Last quarter numbers were as follows:

3/29/96 1995
Sales $11,242,000 $8,221,000
Net Income $646,000 $529,000
Avg. Shares 11,174,000 9,086,000
Net Income .06 .06

The company's product MAXLink, an optical system which provides
high-quality transmission over long distances, is purchased by telcos
and cable companies. Their stock (HLIT) is very volatile and one can
follow it through the charts provided by SI, is presently traded at
$13-$14 a share.

Any comments from anyone?
