It is amazing that Craig McCaw has taken control of Nextel and the street is still yawning. The FCC handed the SMR companies a goldmine when they approved contigious spacing last december. What this means is the smr companies are CELLULAR companies. At some point the wall srtreet analyst that rode this company off a cliff in 1995 will start singing the Nextel song and the stock will explode. McCAW has put in his own people and i wouldn't be surprised to see some announcements soon. This same comment would hold true for Pittencrief Communicatioins the cheapest of the smr plays.
