Recently, I ran across a small company, Selvac, which was advanced 25-35% within an extremely short period of time. Although it was difficult to find any information, I found that SLVC markets and manufacturers appliances that use a patented hair removal system. The float is 9 million, the market capitalization is 84.5 million.
Insiders own over 36%, and continue to be heavy buyers. Just a few quarters ago, there was no institutional interest. But within the last 2-3 months, 284 institutional purchases were made. I am not aware of any sellers. Those insitutions involved banks, hedge funds, and mutual funds. The volume of the company rapidly grew, and the stock had a terrific runup. At present, it had a minor pullback after establishing a high of 9 3/8 on dropping volume, and is starting to pick up steam again. It clearly looks like an interesting and potentially explosive situation with an initial target of 11-12 dollars a share.
I hope the readers of this thread will feed me and each other with additional useful information on this exciting little morsel.
