Anyone else follow this stock? I bought in late September at 20, sold on Monday at 31, only to see a very unexpected 6+ gain today to 37 1/8.
They are a very solid company. The reason for the gigantic price decrease over the last year was the fact that they were mainframe centric in a market that was quickly becoming client/server centric. That has changed with the introduction of ECO Tools and other products. Their quarterly reports show good services fees and development spending. As well, their mainframe tools are still top notch and the mainframe is NOT dying, just subsiding.
I'm wondering about getting back in on a couple point retreat, maybe the 33 neighborhood. Anyone have any info to add? |
