We have Minority Rule in America! The Voting Population agrees with the thread host and says through the act of non voting, "we are not endorsing Political largess" . Instead we'll wait, preserve judgement and hopefully enfranchise ourselves when the party of our motivation stands for more than appropriation without representation.
In the 2000 Presidential Races, the NON Voting Majority (51.3%) was the largest block of the body politic. 107 million Americans cast NONE of The Above Votes by not voting at all. This thread will be used to help those understand the wisdom of abstension, against a backdrop of political hegemony.
As a Non Partisan, I long ago was able to render the cliche of "You did not vote you may not speak", mute, with the simple understanding of the fact and ultimate evil of hegemony.
Please bring a working understanding of the term to the thread. Lets use our time wisely in a learning type of way.
Understanding is the root of compromise, and now that you partisans are aware of us, maybe your elected officials will act more responsibly when their awareness expands to the consideration of the body politic, as real people, who surround them.
For all the acrimony between the parties, not a dime is spent alone. The cooperation seems almost universal when it comes to spending someone elses money.
We, the rest of us, could in fact decide, that Voters, should pay the tab for all the largess, the debts, the waste fraud and abuse. Sounds perposteous, but for the first time, you may have realized that your consent and empowerment of men and women who take half the population for granted, is a situation that begs redress.
