Return to Johnathan Doe's Tech Stock Observations

This thread is intended as a place to record thoughts on my tech stock ponderings. What I'll try to do is assemble a watch list and then track the list and ponder how to play the watch list for profit. I'll share buy points and sell points and see how it all works out. At some point, if I get disciplined, I might set up a paper portfolio to track how these are actually performing. My own stock trades may or my not reflect the paper portfolio. This is all just intended to be a tool; for myself and for anyone else interested in similar stock picks. I hope the thread will allow the inclusion of similarly minded traders and we can share observations and plays.

I'll be focused mostly on small and mid cap tech stocks and will try to figure out what are good tech stocks to trade short term. Short term for Johnathan C. Doe can be as short as overnight to several months or more. The point is to play small and mid cap tech stocks for gain; as long as it takes. The effort will be to pick good plays and then play them as best as possible. I tend to like playing the dogs and the out of favor plays. I like volatile stocks. Many picks will be losers before they become winners and it might take quite a while. Some will never succeed. That is the risk we all take. I'm not going to be trading quickly though; so I'm not going to be in and out within hours, usually not even days. It will all depend on the market.
