| We are in the first half of a bear market for the nasdaq, and are beginning a bear market in the Dow which will eventually find itself tumbling below 7000 in due time. There is much money to be made in this market on the short side, and when the time comes which may not be this year or the next, good money can be made on the long side. A lot of issues will weigh on the markets as I will discuss in periodic posts, but I will post my picks for shorts and longs and those of you out there can be the judge of their usefulness. I have had good success taking advantage of this down market, but also had a little fun taking advantage of the "irrational exuberance" that was in place in the mid to late 90's. I hope to build a good relationship with those of you out there and may we all prosper through careful decision making. |
