XOZ Entertainment, S.A. Announces Appointment of Tom Jackson to its Board of Directors
LAS VEGAS, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- XOZ Entertainment, S.A. (OTC: XOZZ - news) today announced the appointment of Tom Jackson as its newest member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Jackson is a noted musician, singer, actor, businessman and humanitarian. He is President and owner of ``Tomali Productions Inc.'' and has produced a number of TV series and concerts. Mr. Jackson also holds interests in several private and public companies, and will use his knowledge and experience in both the film and business industries as well as his vast number of contacts to promote XOZ Entertainment and their goals.
Mr. Jackson's career in the entertainment industry spans over 30 years. He has performed on live stage, in music concerts and motion pictures, and has starred in several TV series. The longest running TV series, ``North of '60'', was in production for ten years and is now in reruns. He also starred in the long running PBS series ``Shining Time Station'' and has made numerous guest appearances in series such as Star Trek, Street Legal, The Campbells, and Inside Stories as well as many others. He has received a number of awards for his acting and singing talents including two Gemini Award Nominations and two Juno Award Nominations and a country music ``Lifetime Achievement Award.''
Over his career Mr. Jackson has dedicated much of his time to supporting various humanitarian causes. In acknowledgement of his tireless work he has been awarded three Honorary Doctorate Degrees, The Order of Canada, and a number of Humanitarian Awards, national and international.
Mr. Jackson's appointment to the board compliments XOZ's previous appointment of Mark Jeffers, former Vice President of NBC, adding greater depth and entertainment industry experience to XOZ's board. Both Mr. Jackson and Mr. Jeffers will be key players in the direction and goals of the company.
