Welcome to Moomin Valley, the home of Moominoid, or Mumindalen in Swedish. This place used to be called "Troll-Free-Zone" but I thought that was speciest and exclusionary and have had the name changed.
At the moment this is more or less a blog where I post some charts and predictions so I can find them again and discuss some ideas with visitors to the valley. I'll also sometimes post my investment performance (if it looks OK LOL).

Since I amde those posts I have developed a new systematic trading model that is now my core approach for short-term trading with the other methods used as backup.
My general approach was inspired by Soros and the Quantum Fund in its classic days as described in "The Alchemy of Finance" and "Soros: The Unuathorized Biography". I now emphasize TA a lot more, though there are plenty of charts in "The Alchemy of Finance". In other words I have long-term investments and do market timing and changes in currency exposure and I also do short-term trading primarily with the NDX using TA. I don't "test hypotheses" about the market though. I gradually change my risk exposure on the investment side based on my expected macro outlook while making short-term trades on technicals alone. |
