Stormin' Norman was very visible during the Gulf War, on TV, at updates and briefings, etc.

But his counterpart, General Franks, who is the architect of this operation at Central Command and Control in Florida, is doing what Stormin' Norman Swartkoff did during the Gulf War.

Who is this fellow? Does anyone have any background information on him? Anyone ever worked for him?

Why is he conducting operations from Florida instead of in the region of the conflict as Stormin' Norman did?

Is this guy doing a good job?
