"On September 24, Med Gen, Inc.(OTCBB: MGNI) announced that Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT - news) has decided to expand its distribution of the company’s proprietary consumer product, SNORenz®, to more than 1700 stores nationwide. Wal-Mart's decision follows a successfully concluded Beta-test in 314 of its stores that has been on going since last April. The company’s SNORenz® product is now sold in 25,000 stores nationwide including, in addition to Wal-Mart: Walgreens, K-Mart, Eckerd Drugs, Brooks Pharmacy, Osco Drugs, Stop & Shop, Albertsons and many others.
IRI, a consumer market research firm recently ranked SNORenz® 8th in the consumer category “Sleep Aids”. Med Gen's President, Paul Mitchell stated, “The recent market research results strongly support our internal forecasts that the Liquid Sleep Aids Category, a relatively new category, is presently growing in excess of 100% per year, a rate of growth fully reflected in our own operating results.” According to Mitchell, the company is well on track to do $6,000,000 to $8,000,000 this year with profits over $2,000,000… this for a stock that has only 10 million shares outstanding."
