Bush vs. Daschle; A side by side Comparison
It occurred to me recently just what little qualification Daschle has to effect change in our economy compared to Bush. It's like some clown gets elected to office and all of a sudden he or she is an expert in everything.
Well Dub has a Harvard MBA in Business Administration and private sector experience up the wazoo.
What does Dashle have? He has a Political Science degree and a life of never working for anything but the Government. US Airforce Strategic Air-Command before working for an Ultra-Liberal Senator and then elected to the House and the Senate.
Here is something I've been working on that I think will work really well.
Who can we trust to effect change in our economy and get us out of a reccession and create new jobs?
Let's take a look at a side by side comparison of these 2 men and see who we should trust.
Bush:Bachelor of History from Yale Daschle:Bachelor of Political Science from South Dakota State University
Bush:Masters Degree in Business Administration from Harvard Daschle:No post graduate degrees in anything.
Bush:11 years as an owner and employee in private business. Daschle:No private sector experience. Never owned,Never started a business.
Bush:5 years partner in revitalizing a Major League Baseball franchise the Texas Rangers. Daschle:5 years on the public payroll as an aide to an Ultra-Liberal Senator
These figures all come from The Center for Economic Studies
ces.census.gov
Bush:6 years Chief Executive of the second largest state with 26 million people, Texas. Daschle:15 years one of 3 statewide representitives of the 46th largest state of 696,004, South Dakota.

Bush:The gross Texas state product ranks 3rd of the 50 states. Daschle:South Dakota's ranks 47th.

Bush:In 1999 Site Selection ranked Texas as having the number 1 business climate of all the 50 states. Daschle:South Dakota was ranked 22nd.
I could go on and on citing these figures But I think you get the point.
That stupid speech made by Daschle, where he said that the Bush tax cuts were the reason for the recession, was the impetus for my writing this up. I'm sorry, but the numbers just don't add up in any way, shape or form.
If Tom Daschle thinks he is going to run for President in 2004 that speech is going to be gold in the hands of Republican Strategists.
If they smartin' up and fight.
Good Luck
