Just which stocks belong in which IBD Industry Group? Well, if you pay IBD $35, you can get a copy (which is updated twice per year). Or we can just start to collect that data right here. Each original post should represent one of the IBD industry groups and the stocks in that group that you know belong there. You may only know of one or two or you may know many.
Now when you want to add a particular stock to a particular group, just respond to the original post for that industry group. Do a cut and paste from the most recent post for that group so that the latest post will always be updated. This should keep the problem of consolidation to a minimum.
I will do the first few posts. Again each post and subsequent post should include either the original industry group and a list of stock(s) or just an addition within that industry group.
This will take some time, but eventually, we'll get there.
