Saw "We Were Soldiers" last night. I'd give it a 9 or possibly even a 10. Reason being that it accurately covered an historical event. Even though it's a war movie, the dialogue wasn't just one long string of the "f_ck" word. It respectfully portrayed the No. Vietnamese soldiers who vastly outnumbered the americans(4000 to almost 400). Ultimately, the U.S. was considered the victor since after suffering a large number of casualties they nonetheless were able to over-run the enemy forces on the perimeter that led to their commander's hdqtrs. This prompted the evacuation & withdrawal of the No. Vietnamese. the la Drang Valley battle was the first between NVA & US troops in the Vietnam War.

One of the previewed films was "Windtalkers".....it looked interesting. Has anyone seen it as yet?
