| Ag Services of America, Inc. supplies farm inputs, including seed, fertilizer, agricultural chemicals, crop insurance and cash advances for rent, fuel and irrigation, to farmers throughout the United States. The Company buys seed, fertilizer, agricultural chemicals and other farm inputs from numerous national and regional manufacturers, distributors and suppliers of seed, fertilizer and agricultural chemicals. Farmers have traditionally purchased farm inputs from one or more suppliers using credit from commercial banks, the Farm Credit System, the FmHA or other agricultural lenders. The Company extends credit and provides farmers the convenience of purchasing and financing a wide variety of farm inputs from a single source at competitive prices. The Company's customers are currently located in 30 states, and its principal target market is corn and soybean producers in the states of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Illinois, Ohio, South Dakota, North Dakota, Texas and Indiana. |
