OTC/BB STOCKS ------ High Risk/High Reward
OTC/BB and Small Caps are doing well lately. Briefing.com and S.I. have had articles on that. But while they can be high reward, they are risky too.
I started this thread for two main reasons. One is that I am being compensated, at least temporarily, for helping to bring honest exposure to H-Quotient (see disclaimer below). The other is provide a forum to discuss other OTC/BB stocks that other feels are undervalued. OTC/BB stocks have a high potential reward and risk. Careful independent DD by all is essential.
HQNT, on Friday, April 19th announced in excess of $1,000,000 in unaudited annual profits from operations, but also annouced that they will be trading with an "e" on the end of their symbol for a brief time. The "e" indicates that they were late in filing their annual audited financials. The CEO says that will be taken care well before month end, as it has in the past, but some will want to consider this in their assessment, of course, as a potential warning sign.
The company also recently announced an expectation of $5M net from a new product not yet rleased called LabQuotient, and hired a former Senior VP and CIO of Freddie Mac as V.P. of Operations. They also announced that a respected scientist, Dr. Laipply, has now accumulated more than one million shares of HQNT stock and joined them as an advisor.

to be perfectly clear, I am expecting a payment of 15K resticted shares of stock that I cannot sell until at least April 2003. I also own 6,500 shares of stock that I purchased on the open market both prior to and after entering into this verbal agreement. The prices I have paid are in the range of .57 to .74 cents.
As always, do your own DD. New investors need be especially cautious when investing in low-priced issues. Information that other and I post may contain opinion, but the majority of information that I post will be taken directly from SEC filings, Press Releases, Yahoo.com, S.I., and other sources, especially regarding HQNT. |
