2Energia Awarded Multi Million Dollar Contract With Scott Studios
DALLAS, Mar 4, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- 2Energia, Inc. ("2Energia") (OTC:TWEN)
announces that the company has been awarded an exclusive contract by Scott
Studios, Inc. (http://www.ScottStudios.com) to provide software and hardware
installation, site surveys and technical support. The on-going contract with
Scott Studios is valued at more than $30 million, with 2Energia generating $6
million per year, and is expected to generate an annual pre-tax profit for
2Energia of approximately $1.2 million.
2Energia will immediately assume full responsibility for the installation and
technical support of all Scott Studios' software and hardware products
throughout the United States, Canada and Central America.
This significant contract represents the first out-sourcing of work by Scott
Studios in its 28-year history.
Every 17 hours, a new radio station purchases a Scott Studios' digital system.
At this rate, 2Energia estimates that its consultants and technicians will be
doing 40 to 45 installations per month, with each project requiring at least
five to six days on site.
