The Iraq war seems to be creating the conditions needed for a re-alignment in American politics. The mainstream Right is strong after the commanding wins in Aghanistan and Iraq and the continuing strength against Al Quaida. The far right is very unhappy with the 'Regional Transformation' program the NeoCons promote. The mainstream left is split, some took a hard anti-war position and some took a hard pro-war position. The far left is unhappy but energized by their successful protest organization.

How will this affect the political landscape? Let's watch it unfold and discuss it.
