Return to Ask Dr. Bob...NOT!

The pitfalls of technical analysis. This forum was started since Dr. Bob felt he had to take his toys and to play with only the boys and girls that bow down to his TA prowess.

I simply asked Dr. Bob why he could not commit to a statement without qualifying it to make sure he could NEVER be wrong. Something Dr. Bob might say..."we are rallying now, but it could turn down at any moment."

Dr. Bob ALWAYS has to be right so rather than debate civilly he closed the door to his cult.

It's 5/1/03 and I will make my predictions for this year. While Dr. Bob is still see-sawing on a daily basis saying "the markets are rallying, but they could start a multi-month downtrend", I will make an unambiguos statement which is something unheard of for Dr. Bob.

Dow is at 8454 and Naz is at 1472. The Dow will finish the year at least 10% higher and the Naz at least 20% higher. I'll stand by this or I'll eat crow.
