In the past I have always bought token stocks in companies whose construction projects I was involved with.
89 to 92 it was Food Processing Companies/warehouses.
93 to 98 it was Net Working Companies.
98 to 2000 it was Grocery Stores
2000 to 2002 it was residential sites.
My money was always ahead or with the rising markets for each of these. (Wish this my serious money)
Now I'm building sewage treatment plants and public schools. (The school system is broke and can't pay their bills)
Some day the private markets will pick back up. I will be tracking various companies on their construction spending. Hopefully this will coincide with the assumed health of the company and the rebound of it's stock.
