Yushan Yan to Direct Research for Pacific Fuel Cell
CE-CERT Researcher and UCR Chemical & Environmental Engineering faculty member Yushan Yan will lead a team to develop a prototype fuel cell based on Pacific Fuel Cell Corporation's proprietary carbon nanotechnology. The company owns the worldwide rights (excluding Japan) to proprietary PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) fuel cell technology. Professor Yan is a leading authority on high temperature proton conductive membranes and nanostructured electrodes.
