The Company's portfolio of assets is comprised of 17 cellular operations in 16 countries in Latin America, Asia and Africa, covering a population under license of approximately 382 million. MIC's cellular interests operate through three strategic operating entities: Sanbao Telecom (Asia), MIC Latin America and MIC Africa. In addition, MIC provides high-speed wireless data services in five countries and has a 6.8% interest in Tele2 AB, an alternative pan-European telecommunications company offering fixed and mobile telephony, data network and Internet services to over 17 million customers in 22 countries.
