OAO "Kostromskaya TPP" is a federal power plant. Its shares are listed on the RTS Stock Exchange. The plant's installed capacity totals 3,600 MW:
eight 300 MW generating units, and the most powerful turbine unit with the capacity of 1,200 MW (all power equipment installed at the power plant has been produced by the enterprises of Power Machines Group, i.e. OAO "Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod" (LMZ), OAO "Turbine Blades Plant" (ZTL), and OAO "Electrosila"). Today, the electricity generated by Kostromskaya TPP is supplied to 40 regions of Russia and to the former Soviet Union Republics. The annual electric power output is about 11-12 billion TWh.
