Return to Air Canada

Hello everyone

Been a while since I posted here. Hope someone is hanging around who can discuss this subject.

Was it Templeton who said 'buy when the blood is running in the streets'? Well, what about Air Canada now? (AC-TSE) I am someone who has lived thorugh a couple of bailouts for this company and there is something inside me that just can't believe that they will be allowed to slip into bankruptcy. A deal was done but then the Canadian regulators stepped in and said they wanted to review the deal, and the price has dropped again.

I don't want to be watching this thing trade at $2.25 in a year from now only to think, 'what if...'. Can anyone out there comment on this situation? Is there any compelling evidence to believe that AC will be allowed to fail?
