Return to Satellite Radio & Competing Technologies

This board os for discussion of satellite radio stocks (XMSR and SIRI) and competing technologies (IPod, Cellular radio services, Wireless IP, etc.).

Everyone is welcome. The board is moderated against personal attacks, namecalling and abusive language. There are two perfectly good satellite radio stock boards for that.

XM and Sirius boards invariably degenerate to an "Us vs. Them" shouting match. It is a legitimate argument, but there is no end to it. Which content is better? It depends on who you are and what you prefer. The discussion here should be oriented toward the investment characteristics of each.

All I ask for is honest debate. Not hype. But debate about hype is fair game.

Digital Fountain: (This link is included because both XM & SIRI have licensed this technology -- XM in early '04, Sirius in late '04/early '05. I include it because my belief is this technology will play a huge role in SDARS services going forward.)
